than that colder, lowly light
none has felt less right
as your lips glide over mine,
synchronized; a most bitter wine.

can one help thoughts held
deep into the night, conscience quelled?
liberal drops of oil [filth-riddled liquid]
leak from your mouth to mine, our lip lock insipid.

my interest gone, displaced at first touch—
your lips now a feckless crutch;
sorry my dear…
it seems my passion has yet to appear.

This is really great! It is like the moment when a love story has suddenly gone cold and nothing the two do will ever resurrect what they once had. Really lovely rhyme scheme!
