Sorry for my recent inactivity and lack of features; the features will soon be on their way (with a bit of a surprise).

An update on my status:

:bulletblack: I am accepting commissions, the information is on my front profile page but for your sakes I shall remind you of the generic prices:
15 :points: Poetry
20 :points: Flash Fiction
25 :points: Short Story
NOTE: Commissions are separate from Rewards but both are open for use.

:bulletpurple: I currently have about 6 commissions to do and for those who see this journal and wonder when their pieces will be ready, know that I am attempting to write as quickly, efficiently, and well as I can. However, the rate at which I complete commissions relies on my school schedule, homework, personal status, and a plethora of other things. But, I promise anyone that asks for a commission that their requests will be completed by any deadline that they give me.

:bulletblue: Taking 4 Advanced Placement (AP) classes is no joke. I am currently enrolled in: Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and Language and Composition. If anyone is offering tutoring, tips, and or suggestions on the courses (AP standards or not) then all are very welcome.

:bulletgreen: I participate in Girl Scouts and am in my final two years trying to complete my Gold Award (comparable to the Boy Scout's Eagle) and have a few ideas in the work. I have not yet gone for my project idea proposal interview so before I can do much of anything, I have to get my thoughts approved. However, if anyone has any advice on publishing a book, collecting literature/drawings from people large distances apart (that you may or may not come in direct contact with), and/or public speaking then your feedback is greatly appreciated. (Even if you just want to wish me luck, your comment is appreciated.)

:bulletyellow: I take the PSAT next week in order to try to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship. I took the test last year and received a 1740, a passable score; it is doubtful that the score would be enough for me to be a semi-finalists, though. Any and all tips are welcome.

:bulletorange: As many of you know, contests are my largest sources of deviations on this site; looking in my Contests Favourites Folder proves that. Yet, I am having a hard time keeping track of which contests I truly want to enter, their parameters, and their deadlines. I am horrid at keeping track of binders/agendas updating them when I do have them...trust me, I've tried plenty of times. I also live with my parents who snoop through my things when I'm not looking (good-naturedly, of course) so post-its are out of the question. Any suggestions?

:bulletred: Some notable writers to take a look at are: intricately-ordinary, 3wyl, NotenSMSK, CelestialMemories, grew-up-a-screw-up, A-Shadow-Rose, ArthurCrow, VicariouSoul, CrumbledWings, dawn181, PrideofPanem, Nullibicity, and UntamedUnwanted. I am sorry if I missed anyone and/or your favorite authors/authoresses these are simply the names I remember off the top of my head.

:bulletpurple: Sorry for the long journal full of pleas for help and not much else....everything sort of revolves around this month...I promise the next journal will be much better. Thank you for reading!

You all have a good day/night!

I took Language and Comp. as an AP course. If you're already studying you have to remember to take enough time for yourself to recharge. About a month before your big test day start reviewing your notes and make sure you don't overload yourself. The night before the night before the exam, don't cram, but go over anything you're not sure of and leave enough time the next day to ask questions in class. I'm taking Comp I in college and it's almost nothing like the AP class I took in High School, if that makes you feel better or worse.
